My approach to health and fitness is holistic – I like to bring attention to all aspects of wellness, not just to movement. Sleep, stress, hydration, nutrition, mental balance, and of course, exercise are the components I like to incorporate in every fitness plan. I have found that approach not only results in the highest success rate for long and short term goals, but also leaves more of a lasting impact on lifestyle changes overall.
The top two objectives for every session that I coach are (1) you always leave feeling better than you did when you arrived and (2) you learn something new; whether that is a new exercise, something about your body and how it moves, or even just an interesting piece of information from the fitness world. Additionally, alignment/proper form is always the priority for every exercise performed and will remain the major focus for every session and workout plan in general. Expect to be challenged physically and mentally while increasing mobility, flexibility, muscular strength, cardiovascular conditioning, and confidence in yourself and your body’s abilities!
I have a wide variety of experience ranging from individuals who are new to fitness to advanced athletes conditioning for sports and reducing pain from injuries. A few of the areas where I specialize and also enjoy working with others include:
  • Injury prevention/pain management/rehabilitation (orthopedic exercise); specifically in the shoulder, low back, and knee
  • Myofascial release and Trigger Point Therapy
  • Athletic and sports conditioning
  • Kick/boxing
  • Interval and circuit training
